Cabins, site offices and welfare units
Portable Cabin Removal and Disposal
Unwanted portable cabins lifted and taken away on our own HIAB lorries. We collect site offices, welfare units and anti-vandal units, one at a time or a whole compound, across England, Scotland and Wales.

Cabins we collect
Portable cabins tend to stay on a site long after the job they were bought for has finished. When a project ends, a business moves or a school no longer needs extra space, the cabin still has to go somewhere. That is where we come in.
- Portable cabins and portable offices
- Site offices
- Welfare units
- Steel anti-vandal units
- Temporary classroom cabins
- Stacked and linked cabins
We also remove shipping containers, so if your site has a mix of cabins and containers, we can deal with all of it in one plan. Shipping container removal
Preparing a cabin for removal
A little preparation makes collection day straightforward.
- Empty it. Remove furniture, equipment and anything loose inside.
- Disconnect services. Power, water and drainage should be safely disconnected by a qualified person before we arrive.
- Clear the route. Move vehicles, materials and anything else between the road and the cabin.
- Tell us about attachments. Steps, ramps, handrails and anything bolted on should be mentioned when you ask for a quote.
- Check overhead. Let us know about cables, trees and roof edges near the cabin.
Cabin disposal: you pay, it is free, or we buy it
Some cabins are only fit for disposal, some are worth collecting free of charge and some are worth buying. We will tell you which once we have seen photos.
You pay for disposal
For units in poor condition, where the cost of lifting, transporting and disposing of them is more than they are worth. We quote a price before anything is booked.
Free removal
Where a container or cabin still has enough value to cover the cost of collecting it, we can take it away free of charge.
We buy it
Where the unit is in good enough condition, we may make you an offer and pay you for it, as well as collecting it.
Which one applies depends on condition, with size and location also playing a part. Send us photos and we will tell you.
Why a HIAB suits cabin removal
A lorry-mounted HIAB can lift a cabin from where it stands and set it onto the lorry bed in one operation, so there is no need for a separate lifting vehicle. Because the HIAB is ours, the same team plans the lift, carries it out and transports the cabin away.
Larger cabins can be carried on articulated lorries. When you send your photos and measurements, we choose the vehicle that suits the size of the cabin and the access to it.
Portable cabin removal questions
How does portable cabin removal work?
Send us photos of the cabin inside and out, the postcode, its size and a note about access. We tell you whether you pay for disposal, removal is free or we can buy it. On the agreed date our HIAB lifts the cabin onto the lorry, it is secured and we take it away.
What types of cabin do you remove?
Portable cabins, site offices, portable offices, welfare units and steel anti-vandal units. If you are not sure what you have, a photo is enough.
What do I need to do before the cabin is collected?
Empty the cabin, and make sure any electricity, water or drainage connections have been safely disconnected by a qualified person before the collection date. Let us know about steps, ramps or anything fixed to the cabin.
Will you take a cabin that is in poor condition?
Yes. We collect cabins in all conditions. Condition decides whether you pay for disposal, removal is free or we make you an offer.
How much does portable cabin removal cost?
The cost depends mainly on the condition of the cabin, along with its size and where it is. You may pay for cabin disposal, removal may be free, or we may make you an offer. We tell you which from your photos before anything is booked.
Can you remove several cabins from one site?
Yes. We take any quantity, including stacked and linked units. Photos of the whole layout help us plan the lifts.
Need a cabin taken away?
Send us a few photos, the postcode and a rough idea of access. We will tell you whether you pay for disposal, whether removal is free or whether we can buy it.
